i got these glasses yesterday at Icing for like, 10 bucks!

i totally have to show you!

one of my manager's gave me two of the prettiest (and totally "me" gifts ever!) i felt so grateful. =]

she got me this super awesome PURPLE, feather hair barrette! and this really pretty long, gold butterfly necklace. both totally different styles (and eras!), but both of which i loooove. she's so sweet!

and then another one of my manager's good friends' gave me this! a long, 60's-style BUTTON print scarf! I LOVE IT!

they're all soo sweet for giving me gifts, which i didn't expect at all. i'm like, dying inside to get them all something, even though they told me not to. i'm much better at giving things, then receiving haha.

my roommates and i did our Christmas gift exchange last week, since we're all on weirdo schedules. they each got me the cutest stuff, too! i'll have to show you later when my family comes. (with more goodies, aaah!)

First off, The Satisfactory is putting on their 2nd annual Cupcake Camp here in San Francisco tomorrow! spending a sunday eating cupcakes? yes please! im trying to do anything in my power to get the time off from work so i can go! 

Britney Spears' new album Circus just came out this week on Tuesday (her Birthday!), and i'm not ashamed to admit it... I LOVE IT! if any of you have seen my last.fm recently, you'd know. you'd just know. her new video for "Circus" is out now, too! check it out, she looks so adorable hot! 

Speaking of chicks with talent, i've totally been into Annie Lennox and Ella Fitzgerald these days, too. Annie's probably the hottest bald woman i know. (sorry Brit! xoxo). there's this holiday song we've been playing at work with Al Green, and it's just fun. as for Ella, i'd honestly consider selling my soul in order to sing like her. which, is an oxymoron, since you'd need one to belt it out the way she does!

Oh, and i didn't forget! i mentioned my lambie eyemask in my last post, and here it is! if works if i don't throw it off in the middle of the night.

19 more days until Christmas! there are already an abundance of gifts under the tree right now. (uh ohh, and one of them is for me! whatistitwhatistitwhatistit?)

One of my roommate's friends is throwing an Ugly Christmas Sweater party for the holidays, it's going to be a riot! if i'm invited, i better get my Cosby-sweater game on!

haha, off subject... but this is just too hilarious. if only that would work in real life!

okay, short story time! and it wouldn't be a post from me if i didn't mention anything "pink", or something about Tarina Tarantino! but yesterday at work i met my 40 year-old self! this adorable (haha, did i just call myself adorable?!) woman came in on Thursday looking for gifts. well, she ended up not finding anything, but tried a bunch of stuff along the way. she seemed really sweet, fashionable, and had a hot pink streak in her hair that immediately caught my eye! we both had compliments for each other right off the bat, which was funny. she liked my pink, rhinestone cat-eye glasses, and i loved her sparkly, diamond hair clip! she then came in again yesterday to buy a ton of this fragrance she tried on. apparently she tried on so many, she couldn't remember which one it was! and her husband liked it so much, he demanded she come back and by a truckload of it! she held out her hand for me to show her one of the fragrances, when i noticed her giant, pink-crystal rose ring. i stopped what i was doing, and exclaimed, "IS THAT TARINA TARANTINO?!" her eyes almost bugged out of her head. "YES! i can't believe you've heard of her from out here!" we got to talking about our love for anything pink, glittery, and Tarina. she was awesome! and if it wasn't crazy enough as it is, she ALSO has a twin! it's moments like these that make the insane holidays much more bearable. =]
