after weeks of wig shopping and trying on the NASTIEST, cheapest wigs, i'm on a hunt for a good quality, purple long wig! i don't even care if it's synthetic, as long as it isn't stringy, matted and horrendous! preferably one like THIS!:

As Halloween nears, (19 days!) the up-til-2am-makeup spectaculars are at an all time high! Here's Exhibit A of my Barbie makeup: round one. =]

well, they did, apparently! last year in May, MAC introduced their MAC loves Barbie cosmetic collection, with adorably-chic pink-and-black packaging and Barbie's silhouetted face embedded into all the lush and sparkley palettes.

now, of course it is no longer available for sale (darn you, limited time!) but something i just realized, coming this next year in 2009, marks the 50th anniversary of Barbie's creation! now wouldn't that have made more sense to introduce the line then?! well, maybe i'm just wishful thinking, but if MAC gets the idea to re-launch the collection, i'm first in line to buy all of it! 

I'm still so excited about my vintage finds yesterday! unfortunately, Polyvore is being a hassle and  a half, so the cute collage i made came out without any color! i'm new to the whole thing, so i'm not quite sure how to work out the bugs yet. so, meanwhile you'll all just get boring snapshots, instead of a cute montage of pink!

Happy Friday everyone! for most it's finally the weekend (unless you're like me and work weekdays/weekends). today a co-worker and I went up to the Haight and went on a vintage/Halloween spree!

we both decided to be 1959 Barbie No.1 (the original!) but with a twist. so,i bought anything and everything pink in sight! including the AMAZING pink dress i found! although it's 80's, (which technically is still vintage!) it's modeled after a 50's style.
