QotD: Does that make me craazy?

On this day in 1888, Vincent van Gough cut off his left ear. In keeping with that spirit, what's the craziest thing you've ever done?

i do/have done a LOT of ridiculous, crazy things, and if any of you can vouch for that or have a better story of mine to share, please do! what comes to mind is this one time about a year and a half ago, i had a bit of a strange stalker-issue. somehow (someone) got a hold of my number, knew who i was, or just plain wanted to torment me, but anyhow it turned into a legal case. so after all that, just about ANYONE that called me that i didn't recognize the number to, i'd completely wig out. well, one night about two nights after the strange phone calls, i received this creepy text from an unknown number. it said, "i can see you, i'm outside your window". 

WHAAAT?!

i immediately called the cops telling them to get to my house STAT! once they got there, i showed them the text message, and so off they went, searching my apartment and around the premises for any crazy lurkers. nothing and nobody was to be found. they were curious as to who this unknown texter was, so they decided to call and find out. well, after just a few questions, the officer hands me the phone. i look at him in disbelief wondering why he'd make ME talk to the weirdo! it turns out it was my friend Tom, who's number i'd accidentally deleted from my phone. apparently he had NO idea about the whole stalker issue, and exclaimed, 

"... I was bored and taking a shit when i texted you! i can't BELIEVE you called the cops on me!!" 

he still makes fun of me for doing that, hahaha. i felt like such an idiot, but hey, it's better to be safe than sorry!
