A Consumer's Christmas
Can you believe there's just a little over a month left until Christmas?! as my friend so bluntly put it,

officially a month ago the Holiday season has started. well, according to every mall in the country. to be honest, i absolutely hate receiving gifts, of any kind. (if you've ever been invited to one of my birthday's, you'd remember the 'NO PRESENTS!' rule quite well.) but, on the other hand i love making/giving gifts! also, as cheesy and Hallmark as this sounds, i'd much rather just be with friends and family than worry about what i'm going to be savagely ripping open under the tree. BUT, that doesn't stop me from making my mental list of things that have caught my eye throughout the year!
- Happy Pills! i'm going to need them this year to get through the unforgiving, blood-thirsty Christmas shoppers. (don't worry, they're just jelly beans!)
- Cupcake Scarf - from Shana Logic. figures, right? =]
- Big pink hat - every girl needs one! well, no they don't, only i need one.
- Candy-colored nails - it's a must.
- A CAT! - as if you didn't know i love cats... i've been wanting one for years! hopefully when i get my own place next year i can get one... or three!
- an iPhone! - or at least a phone that's better than my awesomely beat-up pink razr.
- Lolita sunglasses - they're just cute, what can i say?
- Betsey Johnson 'Janae' wedges!! - i've been wanting these for a while now, and unfortunately my overly-popular shoe size (7.5) was sold out at Nordstrom's before i could snatch em up! stupid winter sales!
- Pink cameo ring - oversized and ridiculous, and pink. my favorite!
- Mad Hatter necklace - Tarina Tarantino still reigns in as my favorite jeweler, and has a whole line of Alice goodies. not to mention Barbie goodies, too!
- Cute pink luggage! - you can't lose these at the airport even if you tried!
- " L.o.v.e" - it's cheesy and smooshy, but i'm really hoping this year will be better than it has been in the past.
